Bea is a board-certified, licensed clinical psychotherapist who completed her graduate studies and clinical training at Northwestern University. Bea specializes in women's mental health and provides supportive, research-backed therapy tailored specifically for her client's holistic needs and goals.
Bea specializes in treating women's issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and perinatal/maternal mental health. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where women can navigate their challenges, gain invaluable insight, break dysfunctional patterns, learn tangible and actionable skills, and build resilience with confidence. Bea applies an evidence-based, comprehensive therapeutic approach that holistically addresses both the current symptoms and root causes of presenting patterns to ensure lasting positive change. She incorporates body-based somatic and mindfulness techniques into her approach.
Prior to founding Women's Mental Health Group, Bea worked with women in various intensive outpatient and hospitalization settings. Bea is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (PMH-C) with expertise in providing best-practice reproductive mental health care. Bea is also an approved EMDR therapist and has specialized training and advanced certifications in the application of EMDR to effectively treat a range of women's issues, specifically anxiety and trauma occurring during the prenatal, postpartum, and early motherhood phases of life.
