Therapy Services

I offer individual psychotherapy, EMDR therapy, and ERP therapy for women seeking a thoughtful, supportive space to better understand themselves and navigate life’s emotional demands with more clarity and steadiness.

What Therapy is Like

Our work is collaborative, warm, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we focus on both present concerns and the deeper patterns that may be contributing to ongoing stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm.

Therapy may include:

  • Insight-oriented and relational work

  • Skills for managing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and emotional overwhelm

  • Support around boundaries, identity, self-esteem, and self-compassion

  • Supplemental EMDR and/or ERP therapy as needed or indicated

The goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, action-oriented, and like the best version of yourself in daily life.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and integrate distressing experiences so they feel less emotionally overwhelming. It can be especially helpful for reducing anxiety, trauma-related reactions, and patterns that feel “stuck” despite insight.

As a certified EMDR therapist, I incorporate EMDR when appropriate to help process unresolved experiences and memories that continue to negatively influence current thoughts, emotions, or reactions. This approach can be especially helpful when insight alone has not fully shifted long-standing patterns and behaviors.

ERP Therapy

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps reduce anxiety by gradually facing feared thoughts, sensations, or situations while learning to resist the urge to engage in compulsive behaviors. Over time, this process helps retrain the brain to tolerate uncertainty and decreases the intensity and frequency of obsessive thoughts.

I have extensive training in ERP and incorporate ERP when working with clients who experience OCD, health and illness anxiety, and intrusive thoughts to help them step out of repetitive worry and checking cycles. This approach is especially helpful for learning how to respond differently to distressing thoughts and sensations, even when they feel scary, urgent, or important, and for building confidence in one’s ability to handle uncertainty without relying on compulsions.
